Hair 101

Whatever your hair's condition,a regular dose of pampering can lift your spirits and your foolicles when the weather is otherwise bringing you down.

Check out this tips:

  • Wash and condition your hair daily. Especially those grubby urban atmospheres. Think of your hair as an extension of your skin.
  • Eat a well-balanced diet. Little bits of all kinds of food will provide the full complement of vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbs and oils.
  • Get a trim every six to eight weeks to stop ends splitting and breaking.
  • If you are using heating tools, apply a protective serum and always keep the appliance moving through the hair.
  • If your hair is dry, use a deep-conditioning treatment. It it's also damaged, the treatment won't fix the hair, so it's best to get it trimmed.
