Is it really reasonable to take away your own life because of failure in love or relationships? That was the question that bugged me after I heard the news from my friend, that one of her colleagues in mountaineering club was found dead in his apartment. After his girlfriend dumped him, he hanged himself. I was really shocked by the news, I can't imagine someone with the same age as me, will take away his own life because of failure in love. I thought of, how did the parents reacted? What did the girlfriend feel after seeing her dead ex-boyfriend? I really feel so sad for the guy, for the parents and for the girl.
I really feel sorry for the guy because he so young to be madly in love with the girl and besides there are so many girls in the world. But, we can't also blame him. Maybe he was truly in love with the girl. Also I pity the girl who dumped him. She will probably take that in her conscience for the rest of her life that if she did not dumped him, and did not find another guy then maybe he was still alive 'til now. Lastly, I really feel so sorry for the parents of the guy. It is so hard to accept the fact that your son/daughter is gone already and the mere fact that he took away his own life will crash the hearts of every parents.

It was a Sunday morning of July 20 when we had our CS SportsFest and also it was Irene's birthday - one my closest friends in Ateneo. Unluckily I haven't had the chance to play games because I was not feeling very well. After couple of games we decided to have our lunch at the mall. Irene bought a cake and we ate at Chowking. It was just a small celebration with our friends Gie, Ingrid, Alyssa, Irene and Bem, but an enjoyable and unforgettable one. I always enjoy being with friends and share lots of laughter and funny moments with them.
I always hear people say that paintball nowadays is one of the most exciting sports to try. Well the most obvious thing to do to prove it is to try it myself. Luckily, my friend Irene, invited me to join her and some of the Youth For Christ (YFC) in Ateneo to go paintball in Matina Town Square or most commonly known as MTS. The game was composed of two batches. The first batch was the boys. While the guys were playing I felt a little nervous, the gun was a little bit heavy and the bullet was hard. When it was our turn to play, I was hit in the head. It hurt a lot, my head was covered by orange paint. After the game, we went to McDo to have our dinner. With that experience I can really tell that paintball is an exciting game to try and it can be addictive too and it is always enjoyable to try new things with new found friends.
I thought my summer vacation would be over without enjoying it to the fullest. I was so depressed back then because our planned beach outing with my classmates was postponed. Then I decided to go home in our province and invite my high school friends to have an out of town outing. Luckily, they responded positively. After days of planning and preparing, with my friends Phoebe, Mylene, Therese, Queenie, Dawn, Maiza, Richelle, Jestoni, Charles and Victor we went to Lake Agco. It is located in Kidapawan, North Cotabato, roughly 40 minutes of travel from the national road. Though it is quite far but still the place pays it all. There you will enjoy staying in a natural sauna and a very cold pool, and enjoy the scenic view of Lake Agco and Mt. Apo - the heighest peak in the Philippines. Here are our very cute pictures. hehe.

What you can do
Don't smoke; moderate your alcohol intake.
Avoid stress and learn to relax.
Eat a healthy diet.
Drink 2 litres of water a day.
The first visible signs of ageing usually appear on the face as wrinkles and shadows under the eyes. There may also be swelling and reddening of the upper eyelids.
Causes
Wrinkles are due to the loss of elasticity in the skin that occurs with age. Premature wrinkling can be caused by overexposure to the ultraviolet rays in sunlight.
The first lines to appear are usually 'crows'-feet', more generously termed 'laughter lines', which occur at the corners of the eyes as a result of repeatedly contracting the facial muscles. Frown lines may occur between the eyebrows and furrows may crease the forehead.
Bags under the eyes are due to a congestion of the area beneath the lower eyelid, when there are localised problems with the circulation of lymph. They often appear in cases of acute or long-term insomnia. Stress, headaches and fatigue can accentuate the problem.
Plant Remedies
To combat wrinkles
Evening primrose (soft capsules, 500mg). Take 1-2 capsules a day during meals with a glass of water.
Marigold. Apply marigold-based cream daily as directed on the label.
To treat bags under the eyes
Green/black tea. Infuse two sachets of dried leaves in boiling water for 5 minutes, allow to cool and then place one over each eye for 5-10 minutes.
Running out of money? Try this tips to help you save:
RECORD - Keep track with all the things you have bought for at least two weeks. If you are aware where your money goes then you will be in control with it.
RESIST THE URGE - Postpone buying what you think you want for 48 hours. If you still want it, make your well-thought-out purchase.
Simplify - Figure out a weekly budget that includes only basics like food and transport. Don't buy anything not in your budget for a month to discover what you can do without.
Hope this simple tips can help you save some dime for future more important use.
Today our division celebrated our sports feast. Well, as usual, I didn't got the chance to play the game I am supposed to play. My friends signed me up to play basketball, I hesitated at first, I made a lot of alibis just to escape from that commitment but neither of it worked, they really encourage me to join then I had no choice but to practice before the said event. Yesterday we practiced playing basketball to ready ourselves, I enjoyed it though my body hurts now. I got the chance to make some dribbles and shots again after my p.e. class a year ago. By the time I arrived home I was so tired that I slept soundly and forgot the time. It was 8 am when I woke up. I arrived at school at exactly 9:30 am and the game was over. I feel kinda upset but it's okay, better luck to me next time.

All of us suffer from stress, stress from problems at work to pressure from studies and from a break up or divorce. Before we say that we are stressed out, let us know what is stress and its three main classes.
Acute stress is the most common form of stress. It comes from the demands and pressures of the past and the expected demands and pressures of the future. It happens when you find out that you failed an exam or that when you have a brand new baby.
Episodic acute stress. In this form of stress people tend to move from one episode of acute stress to another. Their lives are filled with chaos and crisis. They take on too much, they're always running late, and their homes are filled with clutter. They never seem to slow down, are quick to anger and, not coincidentally, have higher rates of Heart Disease. Some are worrywarts, who see disaster around every corner and who live their lives in a constant state of high anxiety.
Chronic stress is the subtler, prolonged stress-often linked to large life issues-that wears you down every day. It exists in the background of your daily routine. You become so used to it, you don't even know it's there anymore.
When we are confronted with any of this type of stress we should know how to relax our bodies and mind.
Suffering from acne on oily skin? Well, you have the same problem with me, but i found some ways to get rid of acne without spending a lot of money buying anti acne products and going to the dermatologist to have some facial treatments.
1. Drink a lot of water everyday. Aim to drink 10-12 full glass of water each day, it removes the toxins present in the blood. 2.Toothpaste is also a good remedy in getting rid of acne. Apply toothpaste to the affected areas then let it stay overnight. 3. Oatmeal paste is also a great help. Mix water and oatmeal until you will create a paste. Rub this on face gently and leave for 10 to 20 minutes, do this twice a day everyday. The oatmeal will take the excess oil in your face. 4. Don't rub or prick your acne with your fingers to avoid the bacteria from spreading to other ares of your skin.
Last July 14, 2008 I and my boyfriend celebrated our 3rd year anniversary of being together. But sadly to say, we didn't have the chance to be together because we are far away from each other, he's studying away from home. Obviously, we have a long distance relationship but every month we try to spend time and sacrifice some other commitments just to see each other. In our 3 years of being together we encountered so many problems, like unfaithfulness and misunderstandings but then I always thank God that despite all those things me and my boyfriend is still together and is going stronger as time goes longer. And here is the song that I want to dedicate to my one and only love " I could not ask for more" by Edwin McCain.
I COULD NOT ASK FOR MORE
Lying here with you Listening to the rain Smiling just to see the smile upon your face These are the moments I thank God that I'm alive These are the moments I'll remember all my life I found all I've waited for And I could not ask for more Looking in your eyes Seeing all I need Everything you are is everything to me These are the moments I know heaven must exist These are the moments I know all I need is this I have all I've waited for And I could not ask for more Chorus I could not ask for more than this time together I could not ask for more than this time with you Every prayer has been answered Every dream I have's come true And right here in this moment is right where I'm meant to be Here with you here with me
These are the moments I thank God that I'm alive These are the moments I'll remember all my life I've got all I've waited for And I could not ask for more
Chorus
I could not ask for more than the love you give me 'Coz it's all I've waited for And I could not ask for more I could not ask for more
Currently, I'm enjoying watching the NESCAFE 3 in 1 Philippines TV commercial entitled "Freshman". Every time I had the chance to see it on television it always makes me smile because it features human and aliens in one world. I love it because it tells that whatever differences we have with each other we are still in a world where we need to have each other that differences is not a hindrance for us to make this world a peaceful world to live. For you who did not know about the commercial I am talking about, here it is.
Today our prelim exams ended and I am so depressed. I regretted the times that I should have studied. I wasted a lot of times doing unnecessary things and sleeping most of the time. I envy my classmates who got high scores, good for them because they really studied and so bad for me. But I should not lose hope. There will be midterm and finals for me to prove my self.

If you are caught in a thunderstorm do you know what to do? Here's the thing for you:
Take shelter in a car or building.Don't use electrical equipment. including the telephone. and stay away from windows and metal, such as pipes and radiators. If you are outside, never take shelter near or under a lone tree, and keep away from the open ground and ridges. Shelter, instead, in a cave; in a wood, avoiding high points.
Crouch down, keeping your feet together, or curl up into a ball. Discard metal items, such as golf clubs, spades and bicycles. So next time, just in case you'll be caught in a thunderstorm you know what to do. :D

Want to get rid of dark underarms? Stop using hair removal cream on your underarms and start waxing, and do it regularly. Underarms generally look dark due to thick hair under the skin, caused by shaving. Waxing removes hair from the root, so there is no hair under the skin, and the underarms look clean. Also, regular waxing reduces hair growth over a period of time. How long it takes differs from person to person. Often, as soon as you wax for the first time after shaving for a long time, your underarms look much cleaner and lighter.
This is because the hair is a lot thicker, so the wax gets a good grip and pulls it all out.

Tiredof theunwanted hairall over your body? Then here are theways to get rid of them.
SHAVING -- It works using a razor, shaving from the tip of the hair that has grown out through the skin. This very inexpensive, you can do it yourself. All you need is some warm water, a razor, and if you choose, shaving gel or cream. But it only lasts for 1 to 3 days. But with frequent shaving, comes the growth of ingrown hair.
Here are someTIPSfor you: Shave in the shower after your skin has been softened by warm water. Use shaving cream top protect sensitive skin, like the skin in your genitals. Always change the razors to avoid nicks. You can also try an electric razor.
PLUCKING -- In this method, you will use tweezers. Works bystretching the skin tightly, griping the hair close to the root, and pulling it out. It is also very inexpensive but time-consuming because you will remove hair one at a time. You can only use this method in small areas, such as the eyebrows, upper lip, and chin. After, you can experience temporary red bumps because the hair follicle is swollen and irritated. It will last for 3 to 8 weeks.
Here are someTIPSfor you: Before using the tweezers, sterilize it first with rubbing alcohol to prevent infection. DEPILATORIES -- Depilatory cream or liquid removes hair from the surface of the skin. They work by reacting with the protein structure of the hair, so the hair dissolves and can be washed or wiped away. These creams are available at drugstores and grocery stores. It last for several days to 2 weeks.
Here are someTIPSfor you: Read the instructions carefully before applying the product for best results. Apply only the recommended amount on specific areas.
WAXING-- This works by applying a sticky wax on the area of the skin where the unwanted hair is growing. A cloth strip is then applied over the wax and quickly pulled off, taking the hair root and dead skin cells with it. It can be at a salon or at home. Waxing strips are also available in drugstores and groceries. It lasts for 3 to 6 weeks.
Here are someTIPSfor you:For waxing to work, hair should be at least ¼ inch (about 6 millimeters) long. Waxing works well on the legs, bikini area, and eyebrows.
ELECTROLYSIS-- This method is done professionally and is expensive. A professional electrologist inserts a needle into the follicle and sends an electric current through the hair root, killing it. A small area such as the upper lip may take a total of 4 to 10 hours and a larger area such as the bikini line may take 8 to 16 hours. This method permanently removes hair.
Here are someTIPSfor you: If your interested in this, you should first consult your doctor. He can recommend an electrologist with the proper credentials.
LASER HAIR REMOVAL-- In this method a laser is directed through the skin to the hair follicle, where it stops growth. It works best on light-skinned people with dark hair because the melanin (colored pigment) in the hair absorbs more of the light, making treatment more effective. It lasts for 6 months to 1 year.
Here are some TIPSfor you: Using cold packs may help diminish any inflammation after treatment. Avoiding the sun before a treatment may make results more effective. Removingunwanted hair is a verypersonal choice. It'sup to you to decide.

It was just today that I realize am going out of the line. Time has passed so swiftly that I didn't notice myself falling in love for someone. Someone whom I thought would fall for me too. But sadly, it was just a dream. A dream that I can't hardly grasp, can’t never come into reality.
It started a year ago, when I first met him. He was just a stranger. One of my acquaintances But suddenly, something has happened. There was this feeling of oddness. Feeling of happiness whenever I saw him. Feeling of excitement whenever I knew he was there.
I enjoyed talking to him. Being with him is a precious time. I thought he will just be my inspiration. But then slowly I just found myself thinking of us together. Sharing the things that we love most. And IT WAS ALL WRONG.
WRONG because I still belong to someone else. And HE will always remain to be my precious dream. :(

While watching TV, I was so amazed with all the sorts of propaganda being made to fed the minds of the viewers during commercial breaks, like TV ads that blatantly exaggerates the characters throwing themselves at the back of a bus and going through a big splash of water, or an actor zipping open his face downwards to reveal another costume, or a man climbing up a mountain of a dirty laundry. But the one that catches my attention the most is the Pepsi Max No Sugar Ad, it's funny but it was blown up. I find it very irrelevant, because what's the connection between a soft drink without sugar content drank by a guy and after threw him off from the top of Ifugao's rice terraces? Well, here's the video for you to see.
Now you see that this is just one of the many funny exaggerations and should not be taken seriously. That parents should always guide their children while watching this kind of advertisements. With so many products on TV clamoring for the attention of consumers, providing excellent service should be a company’s priority instead of investing millions on a less than one minute impertinent ads. After all, a satisfied customer is worth more than few seconds of hype on TV. Quality of the products are still very much important and the integrity of a company relies much on the satisfaction the clients get from their services.

E-business is at its speak nowadays, more and more retailers and consumers are turning to e-shopping. People find it extremely convenient, with just a click they can choose from millions of products available for them--like clothes, jewelries, electronics etc. But buying cars online? "Virtual car shopping" can be a fun thing to do but its a big NO NO for consumers. Cars are fragile and an expensive asset a person can have and buying it needs time, for careful decisions should be made. In buying cars there are many things to consider: the number of seats, number of doors, size, performance, color, style, comfort and sometimes even towing capacity and its also hard to make sure if the engines are good because over the net some things are just too good to be true. Buying it over the net is not convenient, the buyer cannot personally see the product and check its mechanics. Rebates and also incentives are not sure over the net, you will never know if someone over the line is a fraud appraiser. Although looking up over the net will reduce stressful time and frustrations in the part of the buyer, it will just increase the fear of being ripped off or scammed. So buyers will always consider buying cars personally than being tricked online.

Dead Poets' Society is truly one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is a 1989 Academy Award-winning film directed by Peter Weir. Set in 1859, it is a a heart-warming and heart-breaking examination of the emotional evolution of a group of students at a prestigious all-male school known for its harsh rules and adherence to rules and regulations. Ruled over by their parents' wishes that their sons carry on the family name with honorable occupations like law and medicine, these students find themselves at a stand-still when they arrive. Their English professor, John Keating, played by Robin Williams, changes all of this. He reversed the normal approach to teaching poetry by infusing in their minds a life-affirming love of words and a "Seize the day" attitude.
This is a movie where poetry, passion, comedy and tragedy are fused into one. It is brimming with feelings of adolescent and sentiment because it explores the deepest desires of a teenager despite the presence of authoritarian parents and pressures in the society. I can tell that this is the most influential movie I have ever seen in my life and I was truly inspired to change. Carpe Diem! -Seize the day for it will never happen again.

E-Commerce operates on and through communications networks, principally the Internet. Therefore, safeguarding the integrity of Web sites and its associated software and data is critical. Malicious or opportunistic damage may occur if the network safeguards fail to prevent unauthorised access to your corporate network, when it will be open up for Web based e-commerce. If the network access controls the Web server are poor, the site may be subject to unauthorised access ('hacked'), leading to theft (e.g. of credit card numbers) or corruption of data.
Since the spread of the Internet, the amount of trade conducted electronically has grown extraordinary. It made the selling and buying of products or services accesible to all people in different parts of the world. Although e-commerce brought profit to certain business organizations, I feel pity for those companies who spend millions just to make their business global but then at the end it will be there downfall. It is okay to apply innovations especially when it comes to technology but then we should alaways keep in mind that nothing is safe in the Internet, everybody and anybody can gain access to your datas. We should always be careful in sending our personal datas in the world wide web.
